Skincare : Aroma Magic Rose Oil Review!

Adding essential oil to ur skincare aids in the improvement of the overall texture and health of the skin :)

I have been using the Aroma Magic Rose Oil for more than an year now.

• The oil is housed in a translucent brown glass bottle.Little heavy and since it is a glass bottle not travel friendly at all.
• Price point : Rs.220 for 15 ml.It would last u a month with everyday usage.
• The oil is colorless and has a redolent concentrated rose fragrance.
• Since it is an essential oil it is to ONLY used along with a carrier oil like olive/almond oil.Do not use it directly on ur skin. 
• Frequent usage of the oil imparts a glow to the skin. My skin looks well nourished and healthy :)

 

• Few benefits of rose oil :

               ~ Has astringent qualities i.e. helps in shrinking large pores.
               ~ Is anti bacterial : helps against skin infections.
               ~ Soothes the skin and helps fight acne.
               ~ Provides rich nourishment to the skin.

• Various ways to wean this into ur skincare regime  :

             ~ U can use the rose oil mixed with moisturizer/night cream for skin conditioning.
             ~ With olive/almond oil for a deep massage once/twice a week based on ur skin preferences.
             ~ Mixed with ur face masks.
             ~ In Aromatherapy. I just pour 2/3 drops of the oil in hot water before bath. Very relaxing :D
             ~ Mix it with few drops of water and dab it onto ur pulse points for instant perfume ;) 

VERDICT:

Currently on my 3rd bottle. Do I need to say more?? It will suit both dry skin and oily skin. I love using it as part of my facial routines :)

Oily Haul :D

I did a haul of aroma magic essential oils : Stimulate oil,lavender oil and rose oil :) Along with these I got Parachute All seasons Body lotion.I wanted to try the summer variant but it was unavailable online :)
I purchased these from Stylecraze.com.I have reviewed the site here.

 And Surprise o surprise I got a sample Parachute Summer body lotion free free free :D The bottle is the cutest thing I have seen :D So chutku and adorable muahhhh :*

Will post the reviews of the body lotions and rose oil soon :) The rose oil is a repurchase :) The Lavender oil gave me severe allergy :( And the summer lotion is awesome :)

Mineral Glow Scrub By Aroma Magic Skincare Review!

U must have seen this in my skincare haul post I did sometime back :)
And as always forgot to review this one and the Amway Attitude face wash :P

So here goes my review:

• It costs 80 rupees for the smaller tube.
• It has a turmeric smell associated with it and has a yellowish green tint to it!

• It is not very gentle and definitely won't suit sensitive skin.
• Unlike normal scrubs where u wash it off after 2 mins,u are supposed to keep this scrub on ur face for 10 mins and it gives a light tingling sensation.
• And it WORKS!!It makes my skin smooth and glowing which lasts throughout the day :) It is a great product for summers and oily skin ;) 
• A pea sized amount is enuf for my face and another for my neck so this one is worth the price.
• But people who are allergic to turmeric do stay Away!!
• I use this scrub Once a week to clear up the dead skin cells and accumulated dirt..eeeeeekkkk!
• It evens reduces the effect of tan to some level and also helps with blackheads..I have this blackhead problem at the tip of my nose and this scrub helps me keep them at bay :)
• So I am definitely going to repurchase this :D

RECOMMENDATION:
Yes sure but not for people with Sensitive Skin !

Aroma Magic Oxy Pack review!

 Face Packs are more of a necessity than a luxury to me as my skin tends to look dull and lifeless! My first product from Aroma Magic was the Almond lotion which is my HG for the winters :) I also use the under eye gel, under cream and essential oil from the brand. They are all good! It’s been a long tym since I bought a face mask since most of them have been duds :( sob sob but after reading the reviews of the AM mineral glow pack I wanted to try it but it was unavailable in the stores. I tried it order it online but it wasn’t available ter too.So instead I got this Oxy Pack and am reaching for it nearly everyday :D

It is a gel based mask that has a slight medicinal smell that dies once u apply on the face. The gel is transparent so u r saved from people around u calling “booth” “green/blue ghost” “chudail” etc etc  ;) Since it is gel it dries within 2 mins and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.U can wear the mask and not worry about transferring it anywhere.

It is given in the instructions that u need to wash it after 20 mins.

PROS:

• ·         Transparent gel that dries fast.
• ·         Doesn’t dry out my skin. Even after washing it I can wait for 10-15 mins for applying moisturiser.
• ·         Brightens the skin but mind u the effect lasts for only a few hours.
• ·         It is mentioned in the pack that it oxygenates the skin to keep skin cells flexible and regenerated. I am not sure about the flexible and regenerated part but it sure helps my skin get a boost and rejuvenates it :)
• ·         Costs 215/- for 50 g and little goes a long way so It is going to last me for a gud measure of time!
• ·         The container is sturdy.

CONS:

• ·         I need to dip my fingers. Totally unhygienic.
• ·         I don’t think it is going to lighten the skin tone as the company claims maybe just a temporary brightening effect.
• ·         It is not exactly a hydrating mask but still it will suit all skin types ;)
• I like this mask and use it more than often!

Aroma Magic Almond Moisturising lotion Review!

I have my exams going on so I am unable to do regular posts but I wanted to share the stuff that Save my skin this winter :)  I am going to review Aroma Magic Almond moisturizing lotion and I will review other products soon :)

It is cream colored and semi liquid..has a slightly thick consistency.I have dry skin which turns out to be very dry in winters...I use Olay in summers but It is not enuf in winters. I tried using cold creams but they made my face oily. That’s when I read a review of this saviour on IMBB.I immediately got this and to say I love it would be less ;) It has a slight medicinal smell but am totally ok with it as it moisturises and nourishes my skin. My skin definitely feels soft and good.

If U have oily skin then mix it with a lil water and apply it otherwise u can use it as it is :) 

Price:130 for 120ml and u require only a little of this lotion :) 

PROS:

1.       Packaging is hygienic and travel friendly.

2.       An awesome moisturiser.

3.       Will last long.

4.       Try buying the smaller bottle since the longer bottle will take a very long tym to finish and u might get bored of it :P

5.       It is more natural kind of product and it made me develop a respect for d brand

6.       NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS..so YAY!! for tat :) 

CONS:

1.       The cap of the bottle is lil tight.

2.       Might be greasy in summers not for me thou :) U can solve it by adding water as I already mentioned.
