L'oreal Paris Color Riche Le Gloss in Violet Attitude Review and Swatches!

My lips are prone to immense chapping and sometimes it is hard to carry a lipstick. And these days lip glosses are my guardian angels :) I love how moisturizing they are and make my lips appear smooth and plump!

The L'oreal Color Riche Le Gloss comes in a sleek and slim tube that u can easily slip into ur handbag/clutch.U get 12ml for Rs.550/-.
But since it is in the form of a tube u would not have the advantage of a wand.U would either need to carry along a lip brush or a hand sanitizer(in case u use fingers).
 I carry the latter ;)

The shade Violet Attitude is a Fuchsia Pink with silver shimmers.Though the color looks intense in the tube, it comes out sheer on the lips.Just a hint of pink and the shimmers are not OTT. They blend with the color and are office appropriate :) I would rate 1.5 in the pigmentation department.But these can definitely be built up to semi opaque finish.

The gloss has a creamy and slightly sticky texture. But it feels light on the lips and gives a watery look to the lips.Does not feather or bleed.
I really love its yummy caramel fragrance that makes me drool, hop and jump.

And the best part about the gloss is its moisturizing power. I would call it a superman of hydration ;) Lips feels moisturized even after the gloss vanishes which is after 1.5-2 hrs max.

VERDICT :

I know u guys would think *hardly any color or staying power but still the gal loves it.she must be crazy* Crazy I am but u haven't experienced the agony of severely chapped lips or the divine fragrance of this gloss! Plus I like sheer lip colors more than the opaque ones. I already got Really Rose :)

No excuses or explanations for my absence to bore u with  ;)  Am currently loving these few makeup/skincare products :) I haven't been wearing the usual train of lipsticks. Really miss them but touching up has become irksome these days. Hoping to be back on the track soon :)

Will review it in a few days.

Do not stare at my lips!! Lotus Pure stay Lip Gloss in Pink Hypnotic Review and swatches!

If u wanna make ur ex(s) regret leaving u or make that handsome dude give u the life restorative glance I got just the right tool err wand for u! The lip gloss wand ;) A wand dipped in a bottle of 8ml pure prettiness :)

When I wore this gloss post lunch my friends could not stop staring at my lips :P And d compliments galore! 

Lotus Pure Stay range is an awesome initiative by a Desi brand where the cosmetics are mostly manufactured using natural ingredients and are 100% vegetarian.

The lip glosses surely do pack a punch :)

I got it in Pink Hypnotic and well am more than pleased :)

The gloss comes in a long rectangular see through tube.Sturdy and travel friendly.I totally adore the packaging as it is sleek. But it is a bit heavy too.
Is priced at Rs.395 for 8ml gloss. Might seem expensive but Revlon and Colorbar provide only 3.9 ml and 3.8ml resp for 500 bucks. So the pricing is good for the quantity.
The color is as mentioned hypnotic ;) A stunning melange of red and pink with hints of coral in it. During the day it looks innocently coral pink but at night gives a sexy reddish pink pout.

Has lots of shimmer in it that do not look tacky but add to the sheen of the gloss.
The applicator is spongy and helps disperse the gloss evenly.
The gloss has a sticky texture. The kind which attracts ur hair to ur lips.I personally found it a bit annoying.
Stayed for 2 hours without food and drinks on my lips. With light snacks it left behind a pinkish stain that stayed for another 1/2 an hr. 

The shimmers do disperse to sum degree(check d swatches) but do not stay back for longer time as grit ur lips. They vanish with the gloss. 
I am so liking this range that I am gonna pick up Peachy pink and an orange one :)

VERDICT:

 Gloss lovers shouldn't miss this range especially the color.It is an attention seeker and great for meet ups and night outs. But if ur office does not have strict makeup policies then go gurl!

 

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in Papaya Review and Swatches!

Smack ur lips and say "papaya" to beget juicy summer lips!

Picture urself wearing cute skirts and stepping out in trendy wedges!Zoom in to ur face. Nothing but tinted moisturizer. And a hint of coral glossiness on ur lips that just lightens up ur face ;)

Revlon papaya is the answer to ur prayers for subtle yet pretty coral lips. 

It comes in a long tube.Almost double in size to that of the maybelline watershines.Has the trademark checkered pattern over its cap and a transparent body that helps u to identify the color of the gloss instantly.


Pretty expensive for a lip gloss but u get a huge quantity of 5.9 ml for 500 bucks.

This gloss was a superhit with bloggers across the nation but I was not enamored by the color.Then one day I saw a gal in MTC rocking a coral lip color and bang I was obsessed with this. I literally ran to H & G to get it.I was so afraid that the shade would be OOS!

It looks a warm bright coral orange in the tube but on my lips it settles into a coral pink shade with lil hint of orange and a good dose of juicy glossiness.The shimmers are hardly visible (if there r any) in this particular shade but impart a sheen that does not look OTT.I can easily wear this gloss to office.

The applicator is doe foot type and is convenient to apply the gloss but the gloss itself has a goopy thick texture which makes for uneven application. So as Deeps of Divassence suggests use ur fingers to spread the gloss for better application and lasting power ;)

The gloss is not very sticky that ur hair strands tend to stick on ur lips.

It has a good pigmentation not usual with most of the glosses as u can see from the swatches. The swatch consists of a single swipe only.If u have pigmented lips the color would still show up :)

IMO this gloss would lovely on fair to wheatish skin.Dark skin ladies can check out Aubergine which is a gorgeous berry shade.

Does not have a prominent fragrance.

Feels balmy and moisturising on the lips. I do not require a lip balm even.

Being a gloss it is prone to bleeding under humid conditions.

Stays for 2 hours on my lips.I personally do not expect more from glosses. Colorbar true glosses belong to a different race ;)


VERDICT:

I love the subtle coral sheen it gives my lips. Revlon I apologize for ignoring ur colorburst range of glosses and promise they will receive better love! 
Am I obsessed with revlon?? Oh yea baby!!

My quick 5 minute face routine!

I never have more than 5 minutes (sometimes even less) to do my face most *read all* of the time. Well blame that on my inborn talents of procrastination and laziness ;)
And this is how i make the most of the 5 minutes :P

Just listing down the products I normally use for normal days and casual outings :)

For my skincare :

• Moisturize using Lotus Alphamoist/AM Almond lotion.
• Next, I apply Am under eye gel to keep my dark circles under control.I also use Itone to keep my eyes clear :)
• Finish with lip balm to prep my dry lips for the lipstick :)

2.Aroma Magic Under Eyegel : One of the best products from Aroma Magic! I have been making repurchases of this tube since 2 years.

3.Maybelline baby lips Lipbalm : Not exactly baby lips but it is the only colorless one I own apart from Lipice lemon.

4.Garnier BB cream: I can't stand foundations. So I like using this one :) Reviewed here.

For makeup:

 

• Apply garnier BB cream after the Lotus one soaks in.
• Apply Mascara the Lakme eyeconic one is awsum ;)
• Apply the Bourjois Khol and Contour eyepencil in Brun Design.It is a blackened brown shade.Gives a proper definition without being harsh :)
• Brush a reddish pink/coral pink blush over my cheekbones ( from the high points of my cheeks towards the temples). mMkes my face look less chubby ;)
• Depending on my mood/occasion I either use a basic pinkish brown lipstick or a brighter shade and blot it down with a tissue :)

Oranges and Peaches Lip colors!

Being a student my pocket money and hence my purchases are limited!But I do own a few lipsticks.And I wanted to show u the lipsticks that I liked wearing in summers :)

• Maybelline moisture extreme lipstick in Coral pink : The name is apt for this shade.A coral mixed with Pink and is popular from the the collection.Check out d review here .
• Lotus Pure Colors Carnation Lipstick : It is a coral shade with peachy undertone and sometimes even looks coral red on my lips.A confusing shade but brightens up my face in a poof! Reviewed here.

• Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Peach(075) : It is a proper peach color with lil shimmer.I am no fan of frosty shades but this one looks natural on me and the shimmers are not OTT, Reviewed here .

Vacation Tym!!Wat I am carrying!

I am going for vacation and these are the stuffs that I am carrying..And Don't u dare to roll ur eyes on the amount of stuff I am carrying ;)

I hardly get to wear makeup in Normal life so I am going full throttle on makeup..its Weird that I feel more comfortable in my makeup with Strangers :)

Oh yeah..the date stamp :P

In case u r wondering wat the heart velvet on the silver case is..It is a double side mirror :D I fell in love the moment my eyes fell on it!

MOTD !!!

I was feeling down today cuz of the “3-day” problem and I thot of lifting my spirits thru makeup :D

So I put on Lakme perfecting liquid foundation and patted some concealor (Colorbar stick concealer) over my pimple!

Then I wore a pink shimmer blush (Maybelline Soft Plum) and paired it with my Peach lippie (Revlon Colorburst Peach) and topped it with a peach gloss (NYX Peach 13).

Lined my upper lashline with Maybelline gel liner and Elle18 Blue Blast liner on the lower lashline,curled my lashes with Vega Lash curler and finished with Amway Attitude Mascara :D 

And am wearing the Lakme true wear nailpolish N23 on my nails :D

Maybelline Watershine Liquid Diamonds In Pink Ruby Review!!

Maybelline Watershine range is my fav for Lipglosses.I am now going to review the Pink Ruby from their Liquid Diamonds range which has more shimmers in it.

It is a pretty pink that will suit fair as well as wheatish complexions.On the lips it transforms to a pink with slight red undertones.

PROS:

1. The shimmers will suit for partywear.

2. Flattering Color.

3. Pocket friendly.

4. The applicator is good for applying the gloss.

CONS:

1. Doesn’t last on me..Maximum 2 hrs without eating :(

2. I don’t wear for normal outings..too glittery.

3.  After it fades it leaves the shimmers behind..not cool.
