Skincare: Vedic Line+ SensiTone Face Wash for Sensitive Skin Review!

I have a thing for blue.Midnight blue and purple to be exact! I eat blue jellies even if they don't taste good ;)

  • The face wash comes in a beautiful blue packaging. The cap shuts tight.
  • Totally travel friendly and hygienic.
  • The liquid is transparent with a runny texture.
  • Foams easily.
  • It has a refreshing smell that helps me wake my sleepy nerves ;)
  • This face wash will work better on normal and oily skin as it slightly dries out my dry skin.
  • I need to apply moisturizer within 5-10 minutes to avoid the stretchy feeling.

  • Paraben free and not tested on animals
  • Did not irritate my skin and provided a cooling effect which is gng to be more than welcome in the summers !
  • Priced at Rs.150/- for 100 ml. Quite reasonable and these are mostly on discounts on Healthkart.com.

VERDICT:

A decent paraben free face wash that does its job well without boasting of tall claims ;)  Normal and oily skin will like it :)

Skincare : Vedic Line Papaya Scrub Review!

I have dry skin and that is justification enuf to use scrubs once or twice a week ;)

  • The packaging is sturdy and consists of a tub with a screw on lid and an additional lid inside to prevent spillage. It is travel friendly but not hygienic.
  • The scrub has a muddy color and has a fruity fragrance. The smell is a little overpowering but it does not turn me off.I am quite okay with it.

  • It has a creamy texture with not so gritty black scrub particles. The scrub particles are not harsh thou it may seem so from the looks of it. Never felt abrasive on my skin.
  • U need medium amounts of it to scrub ur face and neck. But u get a lot in the tub. So this will last long.
  • Priced at Rs.275 for 100 ml. Little pricey but u do get a lot of product.
  • Skin feels softer and smoother after using the product.
  • Due to the creamy texture, dry skin ladies will like it :)
  • Does not dry out my skin.
  • It provides little glow to the skin that lasts for a day.

  • I do not suffer from acne :touchwood: so I cannot vouch for the "keeping the skin clear" claim. But yes it makes my skin look smooth :)
  • Did not irritate my skin or make it sensitive. But as mentioned do not scrub hard. Be gentle on ur skin :)
  • Does not contain Parabens  :)
  • Papaya in general is know to be an excellent antioxidant. Hence it aids against aging.

VERDICT:

If u are looking for a cream based scrub that is paraben free and keeps ur skin smooth then u will like it :)

Skincare: Vedic Line Sunscreen Gel Review!

Sunscreen is a very critical step in your skincare routine provided u have one ;)

It helps prevent pigmentation, sun spots, tanning and slows down aging. Most importantly, it reduces the risk of skin cancer :)

  • The Sunscreen gel comes in an orangish yellow tub.The cap screws shut tightly :) Travel friendly but not hygienic.
  • The sunscreen as mentioned is a creme gel.Sinks in instantly like a gel and is moisturizing like a cream :) The moisturization is obviously not as good as a proper moisturizer.

  • I have never used a sunscreen that does not sweat under the hot humid Chennai Sun.And boy was I glad that this gel did not let me down :) It does not stain/melt off/make me sweat!
  • Does not give a whitish cast.
  • Gives a cooling sensation on application that lasts a few seconds.
  • Since it gets absorbed I am not sure about it being waterproof.
  • I can easily give this 5 out of 5 for the above pros but wait there is more!
  • It is PARABEN FREE! and has natural ingredients.

  • Neutrogena costs 150 bucks for 30 ml while u get 65 ml for 210/-with this.
  • But the SPF is only 30. I just wish they had provided higher SPF like our Neutrogena that provides 50 + SPF :\
VERDICT:

This is one sunscreen that both dry and oily skin can easily take a liking to :) I think I will repurchase this for the coming summers (I am already dreading those months! )

Skincare: Vedic line moisturizeer in Fig and Honey Review!

If u guys had seen my haul post U would know I got this fig and honey moisturizer free with the sandalwood and turmeric one :)
So did I like d sample??Read onnnnnnn :)

  • The packaging is a miniature version of the sandalwood and turmeric moisturizer. The same flip over cap and plastic bottle.Totally travel friendly and hygienic :)

  • The moisturizer is yellowish-beige in color.
  • Has a thicker consistency compared to the other one.
  • But gets absorbed in seconds without any greasiness. No whitish cast.

  • Smells of guava to my nasal sense.I have no idea how fig smells.
  • It is more moisturizing than the sandalwood moisturizer.
  • Will suit normal-oily skin in the winters.
  • It would be greasy for normal skin in the humid summers.
  • Summing up IMO:
                 Summers: Dry skin
                 Winters: Normal/combination/oily skin

  • Retails for Rs.120/- .U can get it from Healthkart/Flipkart :)
  • No SPF content.

VERDICT:
Another decent moisturizer from Vedic Line.

Skincare:Vedic Line Moisturizer in Sandalwood and Turmeric Review

This post is for Niveditha from Beauty at times is Skin deep :) Check out her blog for gr8 reviews on red lipsticks, awesum eye makeup and skincare :)

Vedic line is relatively new in the skincare market but it has already garnered many followers :) I wanted to try out the sandalwood and turmeric moisturizer and ordered it from Healthkart.

After testing it out for a fair amount of tym this is what I have to say on this :

  • The packaging has a flip-over cap that is tightly shut so It won't spill.Plus it is hygienic :) Totally travel friendly.

  • The moisturizer has a liquid texture..not runny but not thick.
  • As u can see it is slightly yellowish.

  • Smells of sandalwood and turmeric..umm.kind of spicy ;) It reminds me of the oil baths I used to take as a kid..Love d smell :D
  • It suits my skin type in the winters if I use a hydrating night cream say nivea at night. But in case my skin is in bad mood this one doesn't placate it :\
  • If urs is an oily skin that becomes normal/slightly dry in winters then this one will be good for u.But for dry skin this won't suffice.
  • On the flip side,it will suit dry skin in the humid summers.
  • This is more of a normal-combination type moisturizer in the winters and normal-dry type in the summers.
  • It doesn't have any SPF in it.
  • Does not give any whitish cast ( Crucio Ponds white!)
  • Retails at Rs.120/- for 100 ml.
VERDICT:
I would call it a decent moisturizer that does its job.If u r fan of spicy aromas and modest moisturization then I say give it a whirl ;)
