L'oreal Kajal Magigue Review and Swatches!

Did u watch Sex and City 2 ? The scene where Sarah Jessica Parker wears kohl before rushing to meet her ex-flame ? That was the only moment I hated Kohl on a woman.But, I sighed at the intensity of the kajal that could save me minutes of office makeup. L'oreal launced the Kajal Magigue and here is for you to decide if it is the one ;)

L'oreal kajal magigue is a plastic twist up-down pencil. It has a black body with a pink rim at the middle. For reasons unknown I find the packaging a lil tacky. Comes with the price tag of Rs.245/-.

The kajal feels soft and creamy but not soft as attitude kajal which literally melts. Does not tug and glides smoothly over the waterline/upper lashline.

The shade is black (wat else?) but not jet black. The pigmentation is okayish types and needs to be built up. After several swipes I do get the intensity I want but I seriously wish L'oreal concentrated more on the pigmentation front. And thank god for the color is pure black and not greyish black like Lakme.

 
Does not feel heavy on the eyes or irritate the eyes.

I apply several swipes and it lasts throughout the day like 10-11 hours on my waterline (AC/non AC). But do remember I use several swipes so that the kohl does not fade on me.

The kajal is definitely waterproof  and smudgeproof. It takes a few seconds to set after which it hardly smudges even after washing my face. I can remove it only with oil.

VERDICT :

If u do not prefer harsh black lines on ur eyes or mind spending a few extra seconds to build up ur kajal intensity then this is a good choice for the price range.

Would give it 3.5 out of 5.(-1 for the pigmentation and -.5 for the packaging)

Products Being Loved!

My skin has improved a lot but I am still staying away from Blushes!It is Lipstick love all the way these days :)

So the products am using and loving for a while now :

• Lotus Alphamoist Moisturiser : It is moisturising and oil free.Oil free is a bonus since Chennai weather makes me sweat a lot and alphamoist stands the heat :) My skin is now between normal and dry.But I can't use this for winters..not enough.Extremely Dry skinned ppl plz stay away. REVIEW coming soon!
• Maybelline Colorsensational The Jewels Berry Brilliant Lipstick : I seriously didn't want a shade from the Jewels Collection!Thot no shade would look good on me.But gave in and got this ;) The shades are all fall.shades and sooooooo moisturising.Rubylicious and this one are my fav :) Grab one if u haven't! Detailed REVIEW soon!
• Lakme Eyeconic Curling Mascara : I am now bored of Kareena.Seems like she is everywhere..every ad, every Tv serial, every reality show phew!But I liked her catchy eyes in the Lakme Eyeconic ad and hence got this :)

• Himalaya Revitalizing Night Cream : Nights are cold now and I need an oil based cream to prevent peeling skin and this baby fits the bill perfectly ;) Doesn't make my skin oily ,is moisturising and imparts a healthy glow in the morning.This is my 4th tub :)
• Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Lotion : The heavenly smell!And the moisturization make it one of the best body lotions available in our country ;) I have done a mini review on it here .
• Bourjois Levres Contour pencil in Peche Voluptese : This is a peachy orange lip pencil and would be a great buy for fair skin :) Another pending review.
• Lotus Herbals Kajal : This is my favorite after the Amway Attitude Kajal.Is less smudgy than Himalaya kajal and I have a special thing for herbal stuff  :D

Amway Attitude Eyeliner Pencil In Kajal-Coal Swatches and Review!

 

 I am not much of a Kajal fan cuz after few hours they make me look like a racoon and give me dark circles..but still I have tried many brands of kajal like Lakme,Streetwear,Eyetex,Lotus,Bourjois Khol liner,e,t.c I like Lotus Kajal and Eyetex the most!

Eyetex is not very pigmented but holds without smudging for long time while Lotus is more black and I need only a single swipe but smudges after few hours!

Now I wanted a Kajal that can be doubled up as eyeliner too :) So when I am out I need to carry only one pencil and a lipbalm to luk presentable!

Now enters the Amway Attitude eyeliner pencil in Kajal Coal...tadatada.rampampam :P

• It is so smooth..just glides on!Colossal kajal doesn't give that feeling to me :(
• Is very pigmented.. I wont call it jet black but it is damn black :)
• The packaging is similiar to that of the bourjois Khol and Contour rangebut the tip of the kajal luks like that of the Faces eyeliner.
• Stayed on my waterline for 6 hours without smudging :) 
• Can be used both on waterline and top of the eye :)
• Pencil liners are hassle free..u can apply them faster
• The tip is right for drawing thin lines and u can use lakme sharpener!It doesn't get used up much thou :)
• I would call it water resistant rather than water proof...
• Doesn't sting my eyes..Lakme one does!
• Costs 280/- not cheap but it will last long!I have atlast found my HG eyeliner/kajal ;)
• I have put up swatches comparing it with sum other kajals that I own..forgot to swatch the Lakme one thou.

From L-R:Eyetex kajal,Lotus,Bourjois Noir Expert Khol Liner,Attitude Kajal:all swiped once!

As u can see Attitude kajal is nearly as dark as the 72 Noir expert which is probably the darkest Khol I have used!But tha latter smudges a lot :( 

So get this one and u wouldn't be disappointed ;)
