Lipstick Love: Revlon Colorburst Lipstick In Rosy Nude Review and swatches!

I am in a Lipstick frenzy these days! I do like Colorful makeup but let's say it is hard to wear in the place I live ;) So I stick to neutrals :)

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick In Rosy Nude is one such versatile shade that would make you look polished under most occasions :)

The Colorburst range from Revlon is nothing unfamiliar :) Moving on to the review :)

The packaging is sleek with a checkered pattern on the lipstick case :)
The price is Rs. 610/- for 3.7 g.Definitely on the higher side.It used to sell for 550 bucks when I purchased the (in)famous Peach in 2011.
The shade Rosy Nude (065) is a warm Pinkish Brown shade.It looks MLBB on my lips.

The shade is lighter and has more brown in it compared to the Lakme Rose Kissed Lipstick.The latter I feel would be more apt for the fair and medium skin color while the Rosy Nude would suit a wider range of skin colors :)
The texture is buttery soft.Glides smoothly even on chapped lips.But since it is creamy more than a swipe will accentuate the dry flakes.

The finish is between creamy-glossy.
The Pigmentation I would rate 4.5 out of 5. Well pigmented and 2 swipes would be enough to cover all discolorations.
The lipstick is neither moisturizing nor drying.
Even after being so creamy it does not bleed.
The staying power is low.Lasts for only 2 hours on my lips.
Does not leave behind any tint.It vanishes from the lips *poof*

VERDICT:
It may seem like a lot of cons but the color is a must have :) It has the quality of making you look sophisticated.Neutrals like this can be worn anywhere and with most looks :) One of the best neutral shades in the market :) I reckon u grab this before they *discontinue* it ahem ahem! Revlon is becoming my favorite Lipstick brand ;)

Lipstick Love : NYX Round Lipstick Lip Creme in 565 B52 Swatches!

How excited do u get when u find an awesome product in ur makeup stash which u had ignored till now??

I was jumping all over the place :D And that was because I found this particular lipstick so good both the color and the texture :)
I had actually worn it once or twice but as with all NYX lipsticks this one smells like detergent and I kept away from it .

But the other day I took this out and tried it on..it was so creamy and the color is such a pretty Pinkish brown that I could see stars in the daylight :D :P (in a gud way of course)

I found it is actually a Lipstick Lip Creme on google (decode urself) and is the creamiest lipstick I have ever used.
It is packed with pigments and a single swipe is enuf to cover any degree of pigmentation.
It is a pinkish brown shade that is on the brighter side.It is not ur regular n*de shade but will brighten up ur face.

The color is not overpowering either.
The finish is glossy and makes the lips look plump.
It keeps my lips hydrated as long as I wear it.I do not need a lip balm with this :)
Due to the creamy texture it has the tendency to bleed and lasts 2-3 hrs on me.
Does not settle into fine lines nor does it stain ur lips.
This one melts so u need to refrigerate it
The smell is not pleasing to put it mildly ;).

All in all I would say a must have lipstick owing to its texture and pigmentation.The color is rich and will suit duskier skintones too.I can't thank Rekha enough for including this in her giveaway :D Thank u again :)
I compared this with Lakme Rose Kissed and found them to b almost similar but this one is more intense and has a more brownish undertone.
And I also swatched this with My Mahogany and the colors are very different.My mahogany is kind of peachy browny shade while this one is pinky browny.Check out for urself ;)
