Get Cheeky Giveaway : Entry 11 by Deepika!

Another entry by Deepika!

What did she send this time ??

Coral is one color that will never go out of fashion. Nigella Lawson flaunts coral on her cheeks with such ease! Just gives her the perfect glow!! Her love for orange, coral and red blushers is so evident in all her pictures!!

So here is a blush, very close to my heart, not only because of the color but because of the price too!! I bought the Jordana blush stick in Coral Touch from Cherry culture at $2.99 without much expectation but it turned out to be such a beautiful everyday wear blush and one of my most used blushers!!

The blush is coral in color (for those of you who didn't get it earlier :P)  with a warm pink undertone and has minute gold shimmer which isn't visible when applied. The gold shimmer adds a sheen to the color on the cheeks. I love gold and coral together! Such a fantastic combo!

Editor's Note : Corals and oranges luk wonderful on u yar! No wonder u like Nigella :)

Blush Lust: MUA Powder Blusher in Shade 4 Review and Swatches!

I know u guys must be bored of all the Pink Blush posts happening on my blog. But I am here to make u aware of the pros and cons of makeup products right ;) So I got to do this :)  Plus I am a believer of  " A gal can have never makeup,clothes,shoes.." well u get d drift!

  • MUA blusher in shade 4 has the ditto packaging of the other 1 pound powder blushers.Cute and tiny but fragile. Try not to drop it!!
  • The shade 4 is a peachy pink blush with the peach tone being more prominent.
  • U can consider it a summery everyday wear blush ;)

  • It consists of extremely subtle shimmers which are hardly visible but lend a slight highlighting effect.
  • The texture is powdery but the fallout is lesser compared to the shade 5.
  • The finish is satin due to the presence of the shimmers.

  • Pigmentation wise it is less pigmented than shade 5. I would give it 2 out of 5 ;)
  • Priced at 1 pound/85 bucks a piece these stand for a good deal.
  • Personally I feel this would fair, medium and dusky skin due to the prominence of peach :)
  • Lasting power was between 3-4 hours.

VERDICT:

For 1 pound these blushers are worth a place in ur vanity! And the pigmentation level is just right for beginners to work with :)   I recommend u own atleast 1 of these! I wanted d shade 2 (which is a pink :P ) but it was unavailable during ordering. Will try getting my hands on it ;)

Blush Lust: MUA Blusher in Shade 5 Review and Swatches!

It is not Summer here yet kind of in between and I am already going bonkers about peaches and oranges! I am usually crazy about pink blushes but I seriously suffered from Pink Poisoning :S And that is when I received my MUA stuff ;) I didn't even glance twice at the other blusher. I saw this blusher in shade 5 and went to heaven!

  • The blusher is packaged in a cute and tiny case. The case is fragile and I don't think it is travel friendly.
  • It is dirt cheap at only 1 pound/85 bucks for 2.4 g ;)
  • The Blush is a peach shade with no hint of pink.Lighter and holds less orange in it than Faces Burnt Sienna.

  • Is loaded with obvious gold shimmers. This shade is not exactly a party wear. U can use a light hand for everyday wear too :)
  • The shade warms up the skin so well and the presence of golden shimmers make it apt for beach ;)
  • The blush has a powdery texture.Lots of fallout thus.

  • The pigmentation is low to average. I would rate it 2.5 out of 5.More than 2 swipes makes the shimmers stand out.
  • The blush lasts for 3 hours after which the color fades leaving behind the shimmers. I had to wipe off the whole thing and put it afresh.
VERDICT:
For 1 pound it is a good deal and the color is a pretty peach that spells summers. If u are planning to get some MUA u can get tis :)
