My quick 5 minute face routine!

I never have more than 5 minutes (sometimes even less) to do my face most *read all* of the time. Well blame that on my inborn talents of procrastination and laziness ;)
And this is how i make the most of the 5 minutes :P

Just listing down the products I normally use for normal days and casual outings :)

For my skincare :

• Moisturize using Lotus Alphamoist/AM Almond lotion.
• Next, I apply Am under eye gel to keep my dark circles under control.I also use Itone to keep my eyes clear :)
• Finish with lip balm to prep my dry lips for the lipstick :)

2.Aroma Magic Under Eyegel : One of the best products from Aroma Magic! I have been making repurchases of this tube since 2 years.

3.Maybelline baby lips Lipbalm : Not exactly baby lips but it is the only colorless one I own apart from Lipice lemon.

4.Garnier BB cream: I can't stand foundations. So I like using this one :) Reviewed here.

For makeup:

 

• Apply garnier BB cream after the Lotus one soaks in.
• Apply Mascara the Lakme eyeconic one is awsum ;)
• Apply the Bourjois Khol and Contour eyepencil in Brun Design.It is a blackened brown shade.Gives a proper definition without being harsh :)
• Brush a reddish pink/coral pink blush over my cheekbones ( from the high points of my cheeks towards the temples). mMkes my face look less chubby ;)
• Depending on my mood/occasion I either use a basic pinkish brown lipstick or a brighter shade and blot it down with a tissue :)

Blush Lust: MUA Blusher in Shade 5 Review and Swatches!

It is not Summer here yet kind of in between and I am already going bonkers about peaches and oranges! I am usually crazy about pink blushes but I seriously suffered from Pink Poisoning :S And that is when I received my MUA stuff ;) I didn't even glance twice at the other blusher. I saw this blusher in shade 5 and went to heaven!

• The blusher is packaged in a cute and tiny case.The case is fragile and I don't think it is travel friendly.
• It is dirt cheap at only 1 pound/85 bucks for 2.4 g ;) 
• The Blush is a peach shade with no hint of pink.Lighter and holds less orange in it than Faces Burnt Sienna.

• Is loaded with obvious gold shimmers.This shade is not exactly a party wear. U can use a light hand for everyday wear too :)
• The shade warms up the skin so well and the presence of golden shimmers make it apt for beach ;)
• The blush has a powdery texture.Lots of fallout thus.

• The pigmentation is low to average. I would rate it 2.5 out of 5.More than 2 swipes makes the shimmers stand out.
• The blush lasts for 3 hours after which the color fades leaving behind the shimmers. I had to wipe off the whole thing and put it afresh.

VERDICT:

For 1 pound it is a good deal and the color is a pretty peach that spells summers.If u are planning to get some MUA u can get tis :)

Blush Lust : Kryolan Powder Blusher in Lake Swatches and Review!

Hello Everyone!


                      Long due post I guess ;)Here I am going to review the most pigmented blush I have ever used.

I got this blush after reading a review of it on Deepika's Blog.I always wanted to own a mauvish blush.And this one is not exactly a mauve blush but rather a pink blush with mauvish undertones.
With a light hand it can be your "just had a great workout" or "U r making me blush" kinda blush and with a heavier hand it can add an oomph to ur makeup ;)
But a warning though this blush might b lil too much to handle for the ones in the beginner's level of blushing!
Kryolan has a good selection for shades that caters to all skintones and also offer palettes which are pre set.
Most of them are mattes and this particular blush is matte as well since I do not prefer shimmery ones.

Price: available at Rs.350 for 2.5g

The quantity provided is def on the lower side but the pigmentation is awesome.Hence u will need only *tiny* amount of it.
The blush has a very soft texture but I didn't experience any fall outs with it.It luks like a powder blush and feels buttery to touch!
I wouldn't call it easy to blend types.U need to blend it well otherwise the blush will remain concentrated on the spot u patted it.
 The blush lasted on my *dry* cheeks for 6-7 hours straight thou there was fading after 3-4 hrs.So overall this is one great blush to own and this particular shade will suit duskier skintones too but not sure about dark tones in my opinion.

RATING: 4.5 OUT OF 5

RECO: Yeah U got to try atleast one from their collection. I am already planning to get a palette that has Mocha,Redwood and peach shades :)

Vacation Tym!!Wat I am carrying!

I am going for vacation and these are the stuffs that I am carrying..And Don't u dare to roll ur eyes on the amount of stuff I am carrying ;)

I hardly get to wear makeup in Normal life so I am going full throttle on makeup..its Weird that I feel more comfortable in my makeup with Strangers :)

In case u r wondering wat the heart velvet on the silver case is..It is a double side mirror :D I fell in love the moment my eyes fell on it!

Which Lipstick Do U Love Doubling up as Blush??

I was MIA for the literally a month!!But now I am free atleast for the upcoming days!! And I did a small haul..not much but I am head over heels over the stuff :D

Everyone has atleast one lipstick that they love as a cream blush!! For me its my Lakme Lip Love lipstick in Rose Kissed.

See the shade??It comes out as a deep pink shade which I adore :D And I can even tone it down to a natural pink blush!! Just Awesome! And It stays for 2 hrs on bare cheeks and I haven't tried on foundation..mayb an hr more ;)

Blush Lust: NYX Tea Rose Blush Reviewand Swatches!!!

I love cream blushes! They do wonders for my dry skin :)
NYX Tea Rose luks like an earthy pink colour in the pan...like it has slight peach undertones. But on my cheeks it transforms into a natural flush I get when I massage my skin :D

It is extremely pigmented and a tiny amount is enough!!
It is lil oily and gives a glow but oily skinned beauties can pat a lil compact over it ;)
I got this from urbantouch.com at a discount (520 bucks!) while it usually is priced at 650/- in India. Sigh!! Is it d Customs?? No idea :\
And It has absolutely *NO SHIMMER*!!! I have been in absolute glee from the day I received it..its puurrrfect for the winters :D :D

Blush Lust: Maybelline Berry Sorbet Blush review!

Maybelline Expert wear in Berry Sorbet was my first ever blush!

The packaging is very flimsy.The brush provided is of no use.It is scratchy and does not help with blending.

It is a light frosty pink shade with silver shimmers.Very frosty!
 Gold shimmers I am ok with but silver??No thanks :(
The pigmentation is low..all I could see after applying it was the shimmers!I had to layer it several times.
But on the brighter side novices cannot go overboard in their intial attempts :)

     It will suit dusky beauties better :)

:D U r better off getting the Apricot flush :) It is pretty warm honey shade and suit most :)

Blush Lust:Faces Amber Rose Blush Review and Swatches!!

Another Blush in my collection! Wat else do u expect from me :P I got this for Diwali :) The SA swatched this and It had shimmers in it while I wanted a total matte blush. But the other colours didn’t hook me the way Amber Rose did and I am so glad I got this! It is from the FACES Mineral range. The cost is also higher-Rs.400 and the amount is also less-only 6g.

It is a honey coloured blush and has good amount of golden shimmers in it. But the shimmers are not OTT.They give a healthy glow to the skin. It is a warm sort of colour and It looks gorgeous.

PROS:

1.  The colour is beautiful. 

2.  The packaging..Hmm not sure but I like the mirror. Handy for touch-ups.I haven’t used the brush.

3. Warms up my face instantly.

4. Very smooth.

5. Pigmentation is well enuf.

CONS:

1.       400 for 6g is lil pricey.

NO OTHER CON FOR ME ;)

Blush Lust: Faces Burnt Sienna Blush Review and swatches!!

So u guys must be totally known to my blush obsession..and here I cum wit the review of another blush..Burnt Siena from Faces Canada!!I bought this after I saw Ankita's review on this being a true peach shade :D

It is more orangish than this :)

Luks pinkish in this thou it is not!

 I tried to portray the actual color of this gorgeous thing but could get only little close..it either looks too pink or too orangish..:| It is a peachy shade wit orangish tinge :D And the best part of it is tat it warms up my face instantly without being made up :) I am gonna call it my MCBB(My Cheeks But Better ..if it does exist like My mahogany for my lips :P) 


Y I LOVE THIS???Read on..
1.The color...This is d 1 blush I would never get bored of  wearing everyday or so I hope :)
2.Pigmentation is good...little goes a long way.
3. U get 8g for 299 bucks..will last for a long tym :)

WAT I HATED :( :(
1.The packaging..A tragic incident happened I dropped the box:( and The blush broke totally :'( :'( And I resorted to Youtube and somehow managed to even out and set it thou its nowhere near the original packing :| And also It is so fragile that I cant afford to swish my blush brush over it..I just swipe sum on my fingers and use brush on my cheeks to spread it evenly :) But in the process I lost some amount of d blush!
2.The FALLOFF is of high degree!!
