Lipstick Love : Lotus Pure Color Lipstick in Carnation Review and Swatches!

Sorry I have been MIA frequently for some tym. Of course There are valid reasons for it..And I want to share them wit u guys maybe another post ;) After lots of self cajoling :P I am reviewing  Carnation from Lotus Herbals .

 

It is a coral red color with slight brown undertones.The color is very well pigmented. U can c the intensity of a single swipe in d swatch. The packaging is not good though. And mine was broken when I opened the new packaging. :( Some kind of bad luck hovering around my lippies...they keep breaking. The bullet was sticking to the lid and I had to take it out and fix it on the clasp :|

PROS:

1. Eclectic Collection of colors.

2. Well pigmented.

3. Pocket friendly.

4. Lotus is a herbal brand..So I expect fewer chemicals in d product.

5. I like this shade...Works out to be a pretty tint :D

6. Not drying.

CONS:

1. Not travel friendly...not at all :x

2. Doesn’t last long...Somewhere between 2 to 3 hrs.

3. I would not repurchase this...Mayb will try the moist petals range or better moisture extreme has better packaging at the same rate. It is a nightmare to look at ur broken lippies no?? :’(

Lipstick Love : StreetWear Color Riche lipcolor in Pink Satin

So long!!! I am just gonna do a short review on the pink satin lippie from the streetwear color riche lip color range. This was a random purchase as I had only 150 bucks at hand so I just moved to the streetwear counter and asked for lipsticks. The SA showed me lippies from the 220/- range. Then I remembered reading a review of the lipsticks from a lower range on IMBB.Now, the SA showed me some 4/5 colors and this was the only color that felt wearable to me! So Now I have the Pink satin!

PROS:

1. Low budget lippie

2. The color is very intense.

3. U can vary the intensity to suit all skin tones.

4. Doesn’t dry lips.

CONS:

1. The packaging is very cheap...Expected for this price

2. The color bleeds.

3. U must keep it in the refrigerator as it tends to melt.

4. Only few colors to choose from and most are very dark.

U can try this for the intense color otherwise skip it !!

Strawberry Body Polish from The Body Shop-Its Yummy!!

My first thought when I look at this is How Delicious it smells <3 It is so yummy and out of the world...I feel like Am having a strawberry bath! This is my second tube and I am completely taken from the 1^st tym I used it. It is one of the best selling product of TBS :D

It is necessary to exfoliate the body skin at least once a week to keep it glowing and free from dry flakes. It rejuvenates me and makes me feel good about myself.

This is what the website claims:

Have good, clean fun and smooth skin at the same time thanks to this fragrance foaming gel-based scrub that's gentle enough to use everyday. Dead skin cells are removed in no time, revealing brighter, healthy-looking skin thanks to natural exfoliators. Containing Community Trade organic honey.

It exfoliates very well without being harsh on the skin and foams well too..A little goes a long way. I use it with my orange loofah :D It feels natural to me.

PROS:

1.       It’s awesome smell :D

2.       Gentle exfoliator

3.       Natural

4.       It lasts long..not for me though..I tend to use up a lot :P

CONS:

1.       It is a little pricey..Rs.445/- for 200 ml..but Hello all Body shop stuffs are priced lyk tat.

No other con for me:D
