ALOHA SUMMER !!! :D


      
Belly tops, flip flops
Lemonade, in the shade
Blue skies, hot guys,
Late nights water fights,
Ice creams, sweet dreams,
Bathing suits, shooting hoops,
Party time, schools out,
Sleeping in,sneaking out
Summer’s coming…”

                  Its the Summer tym :O:X::D:P :\ We all love as well as hate Summers dont we??We love the holidays,the dash and splash of water and the ICECREAMS and the BEACH :D and hate the sweltering heat oooofff!! the sweat,the dirt and the PIMPLES :X sdhabvhsvsvbsv :P Ok now the heat in Chennai is slowly in accretion and ill reach its peak by mid may :(:(  There's a common joke abt the Chennai Summer as "we have only 1 season for half of the year and 2 for the other half:" :P yeah tats so true :O:( Let me just give u a few humble tips on how to survive the summer :)

DRINK WATER !!!


WATER IS VERY ESSENTIAL TO SAVE YOUR BODY FROM THE SCORCHING SUN!!
Drink loads and loads of water.It is necessary to make sure that u drink 5 litres of water everyday to keep ur body from dehydrating.It is important to retain the minerals present inside ur body as sweating discards the bodily fluids.It is best if u can carry a bottle of mineral water wherever u go like one in ur bag,in ur car,and other places u tend to visit often...:)

AVOID HOT SPICY FOOD !!!!    

                     Yeah u saw it right...In India we tend to relish spicy fods wit more gusto :P I have no idea why...:\ So guys please avoid ingesting hot spicy stufff like pakoras,hot currys,and other OILY stuffs...mouth watering i know:P

NO OUTING AT NOONS !!

Though it might be tempting to go out in the HOT SUN and get Tanned :O please give this a skip and plan all ur sweet outings either in th mornings before 11 or in the evenings after 5 :) This is to make sure ur body doesnt suffer the aftermaths of the direct sun rays :) :) 

JUICES AND ICECREAMS <3 <3



Ahhhhh!!WHO DOESNT LOVE ICECREAMS AND JUICES???Am sure there ill be countable no. of ice cream haters in the whole world :P  I toh LOVE ICE CREAMS <3 <3 this is the time to HOARD as many ICECREAMS as possible :D so utilize effectively ;)  Drink lots of juices usually of the Summer fruits like Watermelon,mango and others :D They help to keep ur skin and body hydrated and well maintained :) Also keep a bottle of Glucose handy in case the summer heat tends to turn off ur switch...try mixing Glucose wit water it is better :)

FAN/AIR CONDITIIONER

This fan luks cute na :) Make sure u always sit under a fan no matter wherever u r.But ceiling fas are better than Table fans since THEY ALLOW FOR AIR CIRCULATION :) And if u have the provisions for an AC make use of it and sit and relax on ur days :)

SUNSCREEN :
Sunscreens are really a basic step of Safety for ur skin.It protects ur skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun and prevents Skin diseases like Cancer,sunburn and PREMATURE AGING :)So make sure u apply a sunscreen atleast 20 minutes before going out in the sun  ..and i reco the usage of a spf of 50 or more and reapplication after 3 hrs min.

HAIRCARE:

Due to the excessive sweat and the summer dust,the hair  tends to turn greasy(yuck!) which ruins the hair texture and makes it look limp and oily...sigh:( So keep ur hair clean and wash it atleast TWICE a week and use a good shampoo and follow it up wit a conditioner.Conditioner is crucial to keep ur hair shiny and safe from pollution.But try using mild shampoos otherwise hair bcomes dry and hence more oily in the long run :)

LESS MAKEUP:

In Summers LESS IS MORE.U dont want to look cakey.In summers the sweat tends to ruin ur makeup so invest in Neutral makeup...go for nude looks that make u look all dewy and glowing naturally :)If u r unsure abt how to go abt it there are hundreds of tutorials on Youtube on no makeup looks :)u can try and see which one suits u best..remember Heavy makeup can add years to your age :O

PACKUP :

So it is the time for some tourism :D We get more holidays only in the summer at least the school and college students do :wink: make it a point to plan some kind of tour to some hillstation...there is no dearth of hillstations in India awwww :)Also u can approach the tourism organizations for a package that suits ur taste and pocket and start packing :D RELAX and destroy ur stress...Sip a coffee while breathing in the scenic beauty of the nature around you...HMMMM :):) Take a trip to the nearest THEME PARKS and WATER PARKS and have a blast :):)

  1. most of these are known yet difficult to always follow tips..I mean, for example drinking lots of water..every new year i make a resolution to drink adequate amount of water..but never do it!!
