L'oreal Kajal Magigue Review and Swatches!

Did u watch Sex and City 2 ? The scene where Sarah Jessica Parker wears kohl before rushing to meet her ex-flame ? That was the only moment I hated Kohl on a woman.But, I sighed at the intensity of the kajal that could save me minutes of office makeup. L'oreal launced the Kajal Magigue and here is for you to decide if it is the one ;)

L'oreal kajal magigue is a plastic twist up-down pencil. It has a black body with a pink rim at the middle. For reasons unknown I find the packaging a lil tacky. Comes with the price tag of Rs.245/-.

The kajal feels soft and creamy but not soft as attitude kajal which literally melts. Does not tug and glides smoothly over the waterline/upper lashline.

The shade is black (wat else?) but not jet black. The pigmentation is okayish types and needs to be built up. After several swipes I do get the intensity I want but I seriously wish L'oreal concentrated more on the pigmentation front. And thank god for the color is pure black and not greyish black like Lakme.

 
Does not feel heavy on the eyes or irritate the eyes.

I apply several swipes and it lasts throughout the day like 10-11 hours on my waterline (AC/non AC). But do remember I use several swipes so that the kohl does not fade on me.

The kajal is definitely waterproof  and smudgeproof. It takes a few seconds to set after which it hardly smudges even after washing my face. I can remove it only with oil.

VERDICT :

If u do not prefer harsh black lines on ur eyes or mind spending a few extra seconds to build up ur kajal intensity then this is a good choice for the price range.

Would give it 3.5 out of 5.(-1 for the pigmentation and -.5 for the packaging)

P.s: I am still lusting over Lakme Absolute Kohl :D and the L'oreal Million volume lashes mascara. Some1 plz convince me to get them :P

L'oreal Paris Color Riche Le Gloss in Violet Attitude Review and Swatches!

My lips are prone to immense chapping and sometimes it is hard to carry a lipstick. And these days lip glosses are my guardian angels :) I love how moisturizing they are and make my lips appear smooth and plump!

The L'oreal Color Riche Le Gloss comes in a sleek and slim tube that u can easily slip into ur handbag/clutch.U get 12ml for Rs.550/-.
But since it is in the form of a tube u would not have the advantage of a wand.U would either need to carry along a lip brush or a hand sanitizer(in case u use fingers).
 I carry the latter ;)

The shade Violet Attitude is a Fuchsia Pink with silver shimmers.Though the color looks intense in the tube, it comes out sheer on the lips.Just a hint of pink and the shimmers are not OTT. They blend with the color and are office appropriate :) I would rate 1.5 in the pigmentation department.But these can definitely be built up to semi opaque finish.

The gloss has a creamy and slightly sticky texture. But it feels light on the lips and gives a watery look to the lips.Does not feather or bleed.
I really love its yummy caramel fragrance that makes me drool, hop and jump.

And the best part about the gloss is its moisturizing power. I would call it a superman of hydration ;) Lips feels moisturized even after the gloss vanishes which is after 1.5-2 hrs max.

VERDICT :

I know u guys would think *hardly any color or staying power but still the gal loves it.she must be crazy* Crazy I am but u haven't experienced the agony of severely chapped lips or the divine fragrance of this gloss! Plus I like sheer lip colors more than the opaque ones. I already got Really Rose :)

Products I am loving Right Now!

No excuses or explanations for my absence to bore u with  ;)  Am currently loving these few makeup/skincare products :) I haven't been wearing the usual train of lipsticks. Really miss them but touching up has become irksome these days. Hoping to be back on the track soon :)
