Blush Lust : Inglot Powder Blush In No. 27 Swatches and review!

If being obsessed about blushes was a crime I would be serving life sentence :)

Inglot is one of the best cosmetic corporate according to makeup junkies :) They provide quality makeup and have the famous freedom system where u can create ur own palette for lipsticks/blushes/eyeshadows :)
U can get the 6g blush in a pot for Rs.720/- or get the refill that houses the same amount for Rs.350/-. But the hitch is, in the stores it is mandatory for u to buy the palette which is a lil expensive. So it is wiser to order it online from www.majorbrands.in .

Packaging:
The blush is housed in a metal pan placed inside a plastic container.I wouldn't call it secure but if u r scrupulous unlike me u won't need the palette.U can also get the Z-Palette.Find details at this link on wiseshe :) Or better get a magnetic strip and fix it to ur old geometry box ;)

Color:
The Inglot face blush no.27 is a rosy pink shade with lil peach thrown in.Has a satin finish to it.I couldn't locate the shimmers in the lush until I took piccys for this post :) The shimmers are not visible even under the sun and give a subtle flushed glow.U can totally wear this to the office/college.

I have no idea y it shows reddish and warmer in the snaps :\ So I am attaching my haul pic which shows the true color of the blush :)

Swatch:

Texture:
The texture of the blush is soft and smooth.better than any other blush that I own(mayb nt kryolan). It has some fallout problems cuz of that.So I suggest u  to press ur brush gently on the surface instead of swirling it.Blending is easy :)

Pigmentation:
Well pigmented.Kryolan fairs better here. But this one is apropos for beginners :) U might need more swipes if u r on the dusky side.

Longevity:
It sticks to my cheeks fervently for about 5 hours after which it starts fading without patchiness ;)

Extras:
I have done a comparison of it with Colorbar Cosmic Rose which is another fav everyday blush :) Check out d results urself  ;)

VERDICT:
I can see this blush working on fair to dusky skin :) This one is definitely a keeper for everyday wear.I have ditched my cream blushes this winter in its favour :P

Back To Basics : Winter Skincare for Dry skin

I just saw a re-reun of Safe starring Jason Statham! He kicks some a**!And the last dialogue by him in tat movie was:"One day at a tym". Now that reminded me how I blog fervently sometyms and then poof short-circuit :P So I am going to do d same :) Focus One post at a tym :)

Moving onto my post, I surmise seasons got confused. They didn't know who was supposed to reign :\
And my skin bore the blunt. It became horribly dry even before the *mild* winter started.Nothing I had worked. So I devised a new routine with basic skincare stuff that cost quarter of the other branded items.

The products that I use for Winter :

  •  Cetaphil cleanser for sensitive skin:I use only this cleanser these days.It cleans my skin without drying it out.Check out my review here .Price:Rs.110/-
  • Dabur Gulabari : I use this rose water for toning.Price:Rs.20/-
  •  Nivea Creme: This is my saviour _/\_ _/\_ I warm it on my fingers and on cleansed face, I massage the thick cream and then doze off.In the morning I get baby soft skin and need only light moisturisers to keep me going.I apply this on my lips too.Price:Rs.39/-
  • Ponds Moisturising cold cream: I don't use this much after getting the Nivea creme. But if u have normal-dry skin this will help u :) Price:Rs.35/-
  • Aroma Magic Almond lotion: I use this for the day.Review here. Price:Rs.130/-
  • Lotus Lip Therapy in Cocoa: My lips are perennially dry.But this one along with the nivea creme keeps my lips hydrated :) Price:Rs.95/- not sure.
  • Maybelline baby lips in Mango Pie: I got this when my lips were super dry.It hydrated my lips but required frequent reapplications.Lotus lip therapy does a better job thou.Price:Rs.150/-
  • Vaseline cocoa glow body lotion: The hot water baths and the melting choco smell with awesome hydration..do I need to say more??U can check out a mini review here :) Price:Rs.65/- for 100 ml.
I am currently not using any face packs.Any suggestions??

So what r ur winter staples?? :)

The blushes are :

  • Inglot no.32 Powder Blush
  • Faces Powder Blush in Crimson

The skincare stuff :

  • Fab-India Depigmentation cream
  • Vedic Line Sandalwood and Turmeric Moisturizer
  • Maybelline Baby Lips in Mango Pie
I got the Vedic Line Fig and Honey moisturizer free.I also got nivea cream(blue tin) and Ponds cold cream but didn't take their snaps. The nivea cream is awesome :) Will post the Winter skincare by tomo :) And Watermarking is helluva job :(

So which Blush do u want me to review first??  (invisible smileys :P ) :wink  :P

Fitter Me: My diet and Exercise Regime!

Since I am tied indoors due to the heavy rain I thot I might as well do this post ;)

So first the diet that I follow:

Morning (6/7) : That's when I get up :)  2 glasses of water + 4 almonds + a glass of green tea.Along with this a fruit/carrot/tomato.I need fuel to work out ;)

Workout

Post-workout (9/10) : A glass of protein.

Mid morning(10/11) : 1 small cup of  Red/brown rice with veggies and lil pickle.

Lunch (1/2) : 2 Roti with veggies/2 dosa/3 idly/ 2 idiyappam/poha

After 1/2 hr:1 glass of milk with turmeric (good for stomach)

Evening : Green tea with a fruit/dates/roasted channa/chivda/Roasted Makhnas(its my fav) U can get Makhnas from Bombay General stores near Duraisamy Subway (opp to Pothys). They are very nutritious and taste yummy.I forgot to mention them in the previous post.

Dinner(7): Salad comprising of carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, mushrooms, cabbage anything that's there in the fridge at that time ;)
+
A glass of protein if I workout in the evening.

Late night : I am mostly awake till 11 so I munch on carrots/drink milk.
* I stay away from oily and junk foods
*I recommend not to have carbohydrates(carbs) at night since they take longer to digest and since u will be asleep mostly by that time u won't need tat energy and it will be stored as fat.
*Also try having early dinner mostly by 7 or 8.
*Including more protein in ur diet is important since Protein provides u with immediate energy hence u will feel great as well as not crave for *stuff* (junk)
*Ur body needs nutrients and when u eat junk food u do not provide it with sufficient nutrients hence ur body will send u signals to eat more food.when u do not provide it even then it becomes a cycle. U will feel hungry and tired and pile on pounds!
* If I am hungry between meals I munch on fruits and nuts and drink buttermilk!

My Exercise Regime : I workout at home.No gymshym for me.There is no good 1 nearby and if it's far I start procastinating.

That's me :D

Morning : (after some fuel)

20 to 30 mins walk in the park (fast walking).I do not jog.But am not regular with this 1 ;)

 Strength training for an hour

Yoga for 30 mins which includes 6 sets of suryanamaskar and some asanas.

Evening: (5)

Cardio training for 1 hr

 or

1 hr or more of shuttle

Yup My workout is intense so I make sure I eat a lot of veggies.I will share my initial workouts in the upcoming posts :)

Keep tuned in for my Next Posts which will be on What to Eat and What Not to Eat and Exercises which worked for me ;)

Till then
Ciao
